Sample result

The AI visibility tool's sample report covers three fictional brands and one prompt, "best project management tool for creative agencies", asked to ChatGPT in the United States. How it works
Three steps turn a brand name into a visibility report
The AI visibility tool needs three inputs: your brand, up to three competitors and the engines to check. We run the prompts on those engines, count which brands each answer names and in what order, then email you the table. Most online checkers put a score on screen within seconds. This one sends a full report to your inbox, with every brand side by side.
-
Step 1
Enter your brand
Type your brand and up to three competitors. Aliases are matched, so “Loopwork” and “Loopwork Inc.” count as one brand.
-
Step 2
Pick the engines
ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Mode are ticked by default. Add Claude, Microsoft Copilot or Grok if your buyers use them.
-
Step 3
Get the report by email
Leave your work email and company. Our team sends the full table to that address.
Reading the columns
Three numbers per brand say whether it is named, how loud it is and where it lands
The AI visibility tool reports three numbers per brand, each from the same set of answers. Mention rate counts the answers that name the brand, share of voice compares its mentions with every other brand's, and average position says how early it comes. Read together, they separate a brand that is present from one that leads.
Mention rate
The share of answers that name the brand at least once, from 0 to 100. A brand that is not named cannot be recommended, so this column comes first.
Share of voice
The brand's mentions divided by all brand mentions in those answers. The rest goes to brands you did not enter, which is why the column never adds up to 100.
Average position
Where the brand comes, on average, in the answers that name it. Lower is better: 1.0 means the brand is always named first.
Use cases
3 kinds of teams use the AI visibility tool for 3 deliverables
The AI visibility tool gives each audience a starting point it can take to its own work. Platforms see what a GEO module would show their customers, agencies get a first table to open a client conversation, and brands get a baseline before changing their content. Each card opens the matching pattern.
A preview of your GEO module
Run the check on a customer's brand to see the table a visibility module would show them. The API returns the same numbers for every workspace.
AgenciesA first table for a pitch
Bring a client's mention rate against two rivals to the first meeting. The report shows where the brand stands before any work starts.
E-commerce & brandsA baseline before new content
Record where the brand stands today on the engines your buyers use. Run it again after the next content release to see what moved.
Comparison
A scraping API leaves out the 3 numbers this tool reports
The AI visibility tool runs on the same data as the AI Visibility API, so its numbers come from resolved entities, ranked answers and computed share of voice. An AI scraping API returns none of those three, a GEO dashboard tool keeps them behind its interface, and an in-house build has to compute them per engine.
| Capability | API for GEO | AI scraping API | GEO dashboard tool | In-house build |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Share of voice | Yes | No | Yes, closed | Build it |
| Average position in answer | Yes | No | Yes, closed | Build it |
| Entity resolution across aliases | Yes | No | Yes, closed | Build it |
FAQ
AI visibility tool, answered
Why does the report come by email?
The AI visibility tool sends its report by email because each check runs on the engines you tick before anything is sent. Most online checkers show a single score on screen within seconds. This tool sends a table instead, with mention rate, share of voice and average position for every brand you entered.
Which AI engines can I check?
The AI visibility tool covers six engines: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, Claude, Microsoft Copilot and Grok. ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Mode are ticked by default, and the other three can be added in the form. Coverage spans more than 40 countries and 25 languages.
How many competitors can I compare?
The AI visibility tool compares your brand with up to three competitors in one report. Every brand is measured on the same answers, so the mention rates and shares of voice can be read side by side. Brands the engines name on their own, beyond the ones you entered, count in the share of voice.
Can I track visibility every week?
The AI visibility tool gives one report per request. Tracking the same brands every week, across more prompts and markets, is what the AI Visibility API does: it stores each run and returns a timeseries, so a dashboard or a monthly client report can read the trend.
Is the sample result real data?
The AI visibility tool's sample result uses fictional brands, Loopwork, Cadence and Northbeam, and a sample prompt, so it shows the shape of the report without describing a real market. Your own report uses the brands, competitors and engines you enter in the form.
